Itinerary, Everest Expedition

01 Apr/Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel
02 Apr/Day 02: Rest and prepare day for assignment & briefing.
03 Apr/Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (approx 4hrs walk)
04 Apr/Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m approx 7hrs walk )
05 Apr/Day 05: Rest day in Namche, You may visit Hilary museum and Sherpa museum
06 Apr/Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m approx 5 hrs walk)
07 Apr/Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Pheriche / Dingboche (4250m approx 5 hrs walk)
08 Apr/Day 08: Trek from Pheriche / dingboche to Lobuche (5018m approx 4hrs walk)
09 Apr/Day 09: Lobuche - rest day for acclimatization
10 Apr/Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m approx 3 hrs walk) and rest
11 Apr/Day 11: Trek from Gorakshep Base camp (5200m) which takes about two hours.

12 Apr/Day12-56: Climbing period (summit period for summit).
26 May/Day 57: Base Camp Cleaning day

27 May/Day 58: Trek to Lobuche
28 May/Day 59: Trek from Lobuche (5218) to Dingboche (4260m approx 4hrs walk)
29 May/Day 60: Trek from Dingboche to Tengboche (3860m approx 4 hrs walk)
30 May/Day 61: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar(3440m approx 4hrs walk)
31 May/Day 62: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla(2840m approx 7hrs walk)
01 Jun/Day 63: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu Transfer to hotel
02J un/Day 64: Full Day sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath
                      Farewell dinner with Nepalese cultural program in the evening
03Jun/Day 65: Final departure

 

Excellent Support Team

The expedition will be led by very experienced leader from Makalu Adventure. Our climbing Sherpa guides have climbed Everest several times. To their aid will be a team of high altitude cook and experienced helpers.

World Class Equipment

We import original products from Mountain Hardware & North Face. The tents and whole set of camping equipment are of world class.

Safety

We provide emergency oxygen, satellite phone, portable altitude chamber and first-aid with medicines. There is always a backup team should climbers require emergency support, descent or evacuation. The office in Kathmandu can manage to send a helicopter within hours on favourable weather conditions.
